Carson's Tavern - Scottdale

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff were lovely and the food was superb. Rich Grabiak was a delight to interact with.

We visited Carson's for their seafood buffet and found the staff to be excellent, with a particularly courteous waiter. However, we were disappointed with the actual food - it was mediocre at best, lacking seasoning and with dry cod. The biggest issue was that the crab legs were excluded and everything else was served almost cold. In my opinion, the price was a bit high for the bland food we received. The cost per person was between $30–50, with a rating of 1 for the food, 5 for the service, and 4 for the atmosphere.

The seafood buffet on the first Friday of every month is amazing. They have the best crab legs and a great selection of fish. There are also other options such as a made-to-order pasta bar, salad bar, beef tenderloin, shrimp, mussels, clams, and desserts. It's definitely worth trying. It's convenient to have such great seafood close to home. The manager and wait staff are excellent. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend it. Service date: 10/06/23 dine-in.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is lively, and the staff are extremely friendly. What more could you ask for? I am certain you will want to return.

I recently tried the Italian buffet at this restaurant and once again, it was delicious. Our waitress was quick and attentive, and the busboy efficiently cleared our plates away. After our meal, we headed to the bar area where we enjoyed listening to Ruff Creek's acoustic show. The singer, Lacy, has a fantastic voice. This was my second time visiting and I was once again very satisfied. I should mention that parking can be difficult to find, so be prepared for a bit of a walk. If you have someone in your party who has trouble moving around, it's something to keep in mind.
