Taqueria El Amigo - Scissors

I wanted to order ahead cause I was in a hurry and never answered phone.I get their and I tell the waitress that their phone was off and she responds its cause they hardly ever answer.Umm it's a business.So I order 6 breakfast tacos and a enchilada plate. About a 50 minute wait.Waitress was on her cell phone laughing away.So I finally asked her is my order ready? She responds no it's not,she gets up to check and she comes out with my order.Very very disappointed.

I love going here in the mornings the beans are delicious and they make you what you order. i like egg with nopales a la mexicana with white cheese a side of avocado and my order of beans mmm mmm mmm delicious and their pancakes are big and good too fluffy!

One of the best Hidden Gems in the RGV. The tacos are delicious, the service is great! We went by today we were served right away. It's a small restaurant, easy to miss when driving by, but they have the best food here! The tacos and the homemade salsas are one of the best!

Place smells bad and the food is not that good. Only plus is that it is very cheap.
