Sgd Dubu Tofu Bbq - Schaumburg

Absolutely amazing! It's like being transported to Seoul. They nail everything perfectly. Trust me, after living in Asia for nearly nine years, I can confidently say they really understand authentic cuisine. This place truly embodies a genuine South Korean dining experience. They serve a delightful array of appetizers alongside exquisite kimchi and some pickles, making for a fantastic snacking option. We had a quick lunch, and the service was lightning fast. The staff was not only efficient but also incredibly polite and kind. It was a great experience, and I can't wait to come back for a longer visit to try even more dishes!

I don't think we've ever had such a delicious and efficient experience at a KBBQ restaurant! While they don't offer tabletop grilling, the bulgogi and short ribs were excellent. The banchan came in generous portions, and I particularly loved the fish cakes and cucumbers. They were quick to refill the banchan, too! The kalbi and bibimbap servings were generous as well. We devoured our meal, and just as we finished, they brought the check without me needing to ask (I don't find this rude—I'm a fan of the efficiency). I usually prefer tabletop KBBQ places, but SGD DUBU is really making me reconsider my dining choices.

This hidden gem may not be immediately noticeable from the outside, but the reviews are definitely accurate. It's a vegetarian-friendly Korean restaurant with quick service, piping hot and fresh dishes that are incredibly delicious. I'll definitely be returning. I just wish they offered some beer or other beverages to help with the spicy food!
