Subway - Savannah

I was charged $9 for 8 meatballs and was informed that it's their policy not to charge by ingredients. Another Subway I visited didn’t have this policy. I won’t be returning to this location, as they seemed indifferent to my concerns. I’ll definitely go back to the other Subway instead. In tough economic times, this kind of customer service can drive businesses to shut down. Food: 4, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 3.

This review primarily reflects my disappointment with the service. We arrived at around 8:10 a.m. on Saturday, August 5th, and the posted opening time was 8:00 a.m. However, the staff member wouldn’t unlock the door or let us in because she needed to fill the cash register first. We waited for another 15 minutes until 8:25, and were about to leave when she finally opened the door. If your hours state 8:00 a.m., I believe you should be prepared to welcome customers at that time, not almost half an hour later. As for the sandwiches, they were decent with plenty of vegetables (no complaints there), but the roast beef seemed quite scarce. Perhaps this was due to the fact that the veggies made up the majority of the sandwich.

The food was decent, earning a solid 3 out of 5 stars. I particularly enjoyed the spicy Italian dish, which had a good kick to it. The cookies were also a highlight and are definitely worth trying. The service was quite impressive, receiving a 4 out of 5 stars. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the takeout process smooth. As for the atmosphere, I’d give it a 3 out of 5. While it wasn’t anything extraordinary, it had a nice vibe. Overall, if you’re looking for a quick and satisfying lunch, this spot is worth checking out!
