Asian House Restaurant - Saskatoon

Satay beef noodle soup - Pho so good! Coming from Vancouver where there a plethora of pho restaurants I was happy to find this little gem.

TERRIBLE food, service was almost as bad! Never eat here. We couldn't get even partway through our meals because they were truly terrible, and we were not asked once by the waitress how is was, and when we got up to leave, we were still charged the full price of the meal. never go here.

Took family there for a weekend lunch and it was great. Everyone was friendly, our food was hot and tasted great. Kids loved the chicken balls, fried rice and ribs and cost was reasonable.

I actually like the food here. I say it that way because if the food could just make it to the table close to the time it was prepared I think the reviews would be great. Im only writing this because I hope the owner will see it and do something otherwise this venture is doomed to fail. So briefly here was our dinning experience. We ordered dishes that we like on a bed of rice. I ordered a dish served in a bowl. The first dish comes out and we ask for utensils and plates. The waiter grabs utensils from the table beside us and leaves. Now to be fair we were thinking he was coming back with the rest of our order. That did not happen. So we began to eat off of the serving dish. We are all family so not squeamish about sharing the plate. The food was barely warm. Our next two dishes came. We asked for plates and thought finally we are on our way. Just need the rice and we are good to go. No go. Never even remotely saw a person again. We picked at our dishes until they were done. We waited for the bill which never came so I went up and asked for it. Now for the funny part. I had to explain several times that yes I did order a rice dish but never got it so wasn't paying for it. So NOW there is people. Three people later and after checking my table they took off the amount for the rice dish. Its the only time in my life that I wondered if I could write a negative tip on a bill and adjust the total and see how that would fly. I didn't. My better half has informed me that sadly we will not be back.

Do not go here. This was our second visit. Our first visit wasn't good (service, temperature of meals, flavour of dishes etc) however we like to give places a second chance. We ordered a starter - chicken cold rolls. What was in them? Rice noodles, a spring of lettuce and a TINY serving of chicken. The peanut sauce was watery. Terrible. (see the photo)I ordered the chicken and shrimp noodle soup. NO flavour. The broth was clear. It was terrible. My date ordered the beef noodle soup. VERY little meat, little flavour and almost no noodles.We also ordered a beef bun noodlebowl to go for his lunch the next day. No veggies. Very little meat. No fish sauce included.DO NOT go here. Save yourself the $38 dollars we wasted.
