Il Palio - Sarstedt

Guter Italiener in Sarstedt. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich, aber nicht zu sehr, es finden sich alle Standards. Meine Fettucine mit Lachs waren gut gewürzt, der Fisch gut gegart. Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames Personal.Ein kleines Manko: die an sich schöne Terrasse liegt leider an einer vielbefahrenen Straßenkreuzung.

Really enjoyed the meal. Asked for a few alterations to the menu and they couldn't do enough. They really went the extra mile.

Siamo qui per un lungo periodo e siamo venuti per parecchie cene in tante persone . Devo dire che il servizio è stato sempre efficente personale cordiale ed educato. Per i piatti all'italiana abbondanti e di qualità. Tutto perfetto da provare. Prezzi nella media del posto.

After taking a wrong tram connection I found myself in Sarstedt and very hungry. I looked in TA and as there was no obvious local winner, I tried this restaurant just across the road from the end of the line tram stop. I ordered the lunch menu for a very modest Euro 7.90 which consisted of a starter (choice of soup, salad or antipasti) plus a choice of about 8 main courses which included at least one meat dish, one fish fish dish and several homemade pasta dishes. I opted for antipasti plus meat lasagne. There was a good selection of antipasti and appeared plus tasted fresh whilst lacking any Wow factor on the taste buds. The lasagne was the same story mainly just a bit bland and unexciting with the pasta a bit overcooked and a touch too greasy for my taste. All in all if I found myself in that town and hungry again I would go back as the restaurant is pleasant enough with quite a charming waitress which unfortunately (paying with my credit card and thoughts elsewhere) I forgot to tip!

Wir aßen mittags zwei gute Pastagerichte. Als Nachtisch bestellte ich einen "tartufo bianco affogato al caffè". Auf italienisch, bei einem italienischen Kellner in einem italienisch geführten Restaurant. In Italien eine herrliche und bekannte Nachspeise aus einem Eisdessert auf Vanillebasis übergossen mit einem Espresso.Serviert wurde ein mit doppeltem Espresso übergossenes Zitroneneisdessert. Ich hatte allerdings keine Migräne, sondern freute mich auf einen leckeren Nachtisch...Ich ließ das Dessert zurückgehen, meine Reklamation wurde mit der Begründung abgelehnt, der Zitronen-Tartufo sei doch weiß...Auf der Rechnung mit angemessenen Mittagstischpreisen fanden sich zwei Espressi und ein Tartufo. Zusammen stolze 8,50 € für ein ungenießbares Dessert.Keine Entschuldigung, kein Preisnachlass. Das war das erste und letzte Mal.
