Sun Garden Cafe - Sarasota

If I had to describe my experience in one word, it would be WOW. The food was outstanding, and their serrano pepper hot sauce was so delicious that I ended up buying a bottle to take home with me.

Opt to sit outside among the beautiful landscaping. It is quite pleasant. The food is great. Large quantities and delicious. Try the kitchen sink omelette. You can choose what you want and it comes with wonderful toast. Staff is very pleasant and the chef gets the food out quickly. We can highly recommend this as a go to breakfast stop.

As always, we had great service in their beautiful atmosphere.

I usually don’t write reviews, whether positive or negative, but I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Mississippi Queen chicken and waffle breakfast with mango habanero sauce, and it was delicious—spicy but not overwhelmingly hot. The service was quick and friendly. I might just return tomorrow for the same dish!
