Meaney's Mini Donuts - Sarasota

I couldn't resist… I didn't just break my diet; I completely disregarded the prices too! But it was 1000% worth it. I ordered six of every donut they had, and not one disappointed! They were all outstanding. My wife, on the other hand, is a better person than I am; she only ordered the Affogato and absolutely loved it. My daughter went for the swirl ice cream and became a fan as well. I definitely caused a stir in line when I bought all those donuts, making everyone behind us wait a bit longer, but the guy running the show was so nice, calm, and friendly—just down to earth. If you get the chance, definitely stop by! Even if it’s just to try something incredible! I bet you won't be able to resist going back.

I absolutely loved Meaney's Mini Donuts! I had the strawberry cheesecake donuts, while my husband enjoyed the cinnamon donuts, and we both thought they were fantastic! The cinnamon donuts were incredibly soft and delicious—definitely melt-in-your-mouth goodness! We even had to grab a second batch for the car ride home. If you're a donut lover, you have to try Meaney's!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I definitely would! This donut shop was recommended to us by a friend who lives nearby, and we were not disappointed. We arrived at 8:00 AM, right when they opened, and there was already a line! We ordered the French toast and chocolate joy donuts, and they were honestly the best donuts we've ever had! My husband also got a vanilla coffee, while I chose a chai – both were fantastic! The guy behind the counter was super friendly and personable too! We’re planning to go back tomorrow to try some new flavors! P.S. It was really cool to see the donuts being made right in front of us at the counter!

Parking is terrible. Waiting in the sun is terrible. If you are allergic to bees, take care. Apart from being mini and in a high tourist area, there is nothing special about these doughnuts. I was very underwhelmed. The guy who runs the stand was really nice.

Cozy to-go shop off Ocean Blvd. Ordered the “Chocolate Delight” donuts and small cup of black coffee. The donuts are “Munchkin style”, balled up. The donuts really were a delight, you could taste the freshness of the batter/dough as they melt in your mouth. Donuts: 5/5 highly recommend Coffee: 3/5 ok coffee. Bland taste, nothing special.
