Pietro's Italian - Sarasota

We really liked the service and they paid attention to our special occasion note. We received a different bottle of wine than we ordered. No one noticed until we had taken a sip. The bill was adjusted when we found the wine we ordered on the wine menu The lasagna was good but not great and the shrimp fra diablo was just ok. We had such high hopes based on friends’ recommendations but the food didn’t live up to it.

We enjoyed our dinner , everything was great. Our waitress Wendy was awesome.

Peter and Susan, along with their team, consistently offer a welcoming and attentive dining experience for all guests. The service is top-notch and the food is undoubtedly the finest in Sarasota. Peter, a skilled chef with years of experience, has curated a selection of premium wines from Italy for his guests to savor. Over the past 20 years, we have enjoyed dining with Peter and Susan and eagerly anticipate each visit. It truly feels like returning home to family.

My wife, daughter, and I celebrated Father's Day on Saturday night at Pietro's. The food and service were excellent, as always. We all ordered veal dishes that were perfectly prepared. I am from Northern New Jersey, just outside of Midtown Manhattan, which is known for its Italian food. Despite this, I have never eaten at a better Italian restaurant in my life. I would rate Pietro's as an 11 out of 10! It is now my favorite restaurant of all time.

Service and food was amazing .. we had the veal chop special .. one was Parmigiana and the other was Marsala .. They were delicious.. We did get an eggplant rolatini for an appetizer it was very good but came out cold . Service was spot on .. Will definitely be back
