California Chicken Cafe - Santa Monica

I rarely write reviews, but I have to give this place 5 stars. It's one of the few affordable high-quality fast casual restaurants in Santa Monica. The food is outstanding and ordering ahead always puts a smile on our faces. Pedro greeted us at our car and provided exceptional customer service, brightening our day. We are now loyal customers thanks to him. Thank you, Pedro!

They’re chicken is undercooked. They have two options when ordering I chose the second option which is well done and it still was undercooked. I spoke to the manager and asked for a well done half chicken and they still gave me a rare cooked chicken. Other locations aren’t like this one.

I also have not eaten at this establishment, yet had a very similar situation. Scheduled from indeed recruitment team for an interview, upon calling the store, I was led in circles about the manager not being available, but being in the store, yet unable to take a phonecall directly requested for management, upon spending money I don't have and precious time, again, scheduled with the GM having absolutely no clue about my arrival. At least he shook my hand proper and apologized for the inconveniences.
