Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. - Santa Monica

A must-visit spot for dining while you're visiting any major city in the USA, even if you're not a fan of chain restaurants. The food was delicious, the service was some of the friendliest I've encountered in my life, and the atmosphere, while a bit cheesy, will definitely make you smile. I've been to Bubba Gump twice in Santa Monica and once in Maui, and I always order the same thing: Shrimper's Heaven, which basically consists of 4 different types of shrimp, fries, and various sauces. It's a huge mix of fried food and definitely not healthy, but no one can deny that it's simply delicious. The menu offers many other options of both fried and grilled seafood, as well as sandwiches, salads, and non-seafood items. The cocktail menu is extensive and a lot of fun, and the desserts are delicious. Make sure to visit Bubba Gump at least once in your lifetime.

The seafood is very good and they celebrate your birthday.

The vibe was great, our server was attentive and friendly, the food I ordered was okay, the shrimp was over cooked in the shrimp scampi and Mac cheese with shrimp. The fish chips was great, fresh and not over battered. The lemonade was good, just a little on the sweet side. Over all the experience was nice.

Clean, cool and laid back atmosphere, extremely pleasant staff, although the food was delicious- there were just a couple of pieces of shrimp that were hard (couldn't tell if they were bad or just overcooked)

Friendly staff, a little too loud for my taste but my salmon was real good as well as the fried calamari.
