Red Sage - Santa Fe

The food was exceptional, although a bit pricey, especially for charging extra for a dinner salad that usually comes with most meals. Our server was outstanding and provided excellent wine recommendations. We both ordered the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection and had superb flavor; the broccoli was seasoned just right as well. I wish I had taken a photo! The pepperoni flatbread pizza was also perfect!

I made a reservation for 7:15 PM, but they were unable to seat us for over 30 minutes. We ended up going to another restaurant down the street. What’s the point of making a reservation at this place?

We absolutely love dining at Red Sage for steaks! We always share everything, from the fantastic Caesar salad to the ribeye. It’s perfectly complemented by an added breadbasket. We never have room for dessert. The service was excellent and very friendly.

Food was very good and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that my wife and I went for the evening to Buffalo Thunder to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Noted that on the reservation. Not a word was said about this on our arrival or any other time during the evening. Why ask Is this a special occasion? during the reservation process if nothing about it is acknowledged? Other places, it is usually mentioned when we arrive, mentioned by the wait staff, and many times something special to commemorate (i.e. special desert) was done. Other than that, as I mentioned, the food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber.

The restaurant is very beautiful. It's very chic and has a low noise level for being inside a resort. When dining we were disappointed with our wine as the bottle was bad. We had to reorder drinks while our waitress seemed confused about what we meant by the bottle being bad. The food was also disappointing. We ordered a variety of appetizers and felt that they tasted frozen and were not worth the hefty price tag attached to them. I was not pleased with the experience and will not be going back. This restaurant used to be wonderful. I'm sad at how it's gone down hill.
