Annapurna's World Vegetarian Café

My husband and I are big fans of the food at Albuquerque restaurants and have enjoyed everything we've tried there. However, we've had some issues at the Santa Fe location. While we truly appreciate the food, our last visit was frustrating because it was the second time we had to ask for our meals to be packed to-go since they simply never arrived. The server was nice and mentioned that they had lost our ticket, which was puzzling given there was only one other table occupied during our early lunch visit. This is the second occasion we've faced long delays or ticket mix-ups, which suggests there might be some disorganization. Having dined at the Albuquerque location numerous times, I don't think the owner would be pleased to hear about this experience. Just sharing our thoughts!

Every time I come here with my bf we both enjoy the food this place serves. I am gluten, dairy, and soy free and I'm so happy that Tim found this place to cater to my dietary restrictions. He has no dietary restrictions and he enjoys it just as much as I do. Thank you for catering to people like me !!!

Hit or miss, in so many ways. Sometimes the staff is really friendly, other times incredibly aloof. Sometimes the cupcakes and cookies are great, moist, tasty.. other times very dry. The soups and entrees go from delicious to completely misleading and disappointing. It?s local and vegan/gluten free friendly, but sometimes the restaurant itself doesn?t give the friendliest vibe due to attitude and/or inconsistency. Wish it was otherwise!

Food was amazing, but the service was lacking. One of the employees was very kind, but the other one was incredibly rude to both my friend and me. She and I both simply asked what was popular on the menu and she had attitude in every response for no warranted reason. Then as she was cleaning off a table, she complained loudly about how messy the previous customer had been for spilling his water. ?Disgusting. How does a grown man spill his water?? A simple mistake. Our experience with her was overall very unpleasant. I do not usually like to leave public negative reviews, but when I asked for the manager I was told there was no one present to speak with me. When I asked for a business email or phone number to speak to the manager, I was told that was not an option. So I let them know I would be writing an honest review about the service. The service industry is not for everyone and if someone cannot work without being rude to customers and guests then maybe they should not be working in a restaurant, setting a bad vibe for people who only wish to enjoy their dining experience.

I won't be returning to this restaurant during my stay. I took my daughter out for her birthday and thought we would give this place a try since it caters to vegetarians and vegans. I ordered a veggie burger and a pizza, while my daughter chose the stir-fry. Unfortunately, the burger was overly spicy and the fries were undercooked. My daughter found her stir-fry too spicy as well. She also ordered a Bundt cake, but it was dry. The worst part was that I never received my pizza; I had to ask about it only to find out it had been left in the oven and was burnt. The cook mentioned that we would get a discount next time we visit, but they didn't even take our names down. Additionally, no one checked in on us to see if we needed anything, and the staff were not friendly at all. I truly hope they improve for the sake of future customers.
