I had the seafood pasta, the salmon was so delicate and tasty and my friend had the steak sandwich and he said it was perfectly seasoned that he loved it. we also had the fried artichoke hearts. 11/10 we will definitely return on our next trip to Santa cruz.
Was on Ocean Street, so I stumbled to this restaurant. It was pretty good. The files and lobsters ordered. It wasn't the best, but not bad. If I come back, I'll probably order something else. It was pretty stuffed. Sit outside when you go and enjoy the beautiful weather Santa Cruz.
Great! Great staff. Cosy atmosphere. I had Filet Mignon(rare) with Lobster. My wife had Sirloin(medium). My daughter had shrimp and chips. Calamari for an appetizer. Everything was perfect. The Lava Cake came a little soon, so it was quite lava-like, but was still tasty. I think they thought we wanted to leave early since we were there for so long. But they gave us a discount because the lava does not flow. Very generous of them. Great experience. Great place. Go to dinner.
A great find! We were lucky to find the Water Street grill across the street from our hotel just when we were hungry for an early dinner. The grill opens at 4:30 ready to serve up a wide array of casual food and full dinners. Our waitress Shelley was super attentive and provided great advice as well as commentary on the neighborhood. Their version of fried asparagus (apparently a local specialty) was excellent. We also went for fried pickles as well to start, and the kitchen let us sample their potato croquettes Yum! Our main course was the skirt steak sandwich and the cowboy burger. Sides included onion rings and sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked exactly as requested (med_rare) and well supported by the au jus, creamed horse radish, and homemade bbq sauce. They also feature an extensive wine list (my zinfandel paired well with the red meat) at reasonable prices. My only disappointment was that they would not be open for breakfast! ? I highly recommend then to any hungry travelers! They also offer both indoor and outside seating.
The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, but the restaurant was a bit expensive and too noisy and crowded for our liking. Despite having a reservation, we were seated at a small table in the corner. I don't think I would return to this place.
