I've only eaten once or twice in the restaurant and don't have too many memories, and this is your own review below. I have gone to red many times over the years, and you can basically get everything you're looking for. In terms of drinks, they have a nice selection of designs and bottled beers. You have an extensive selection of spirits, whether you are looking for a noble glass of whisky or just looking for cheaper mixed drinks. On Mixed Drinks, they have a decent selection of cocktails, and I have always found the bartenders to know about the classics. On the subject of ambience everything begins with red that stimulates various emotions in different people. For some people it sets a rather amusing sound, and for others, a more aggressive feeling for that, if you stay long enough in the night, you need to see a confrontation or two. Earlier in the evening, you will probably run in groups of friends together for happy hour and light appetizers, and stay late and you will get a mix of local surfers Bros and UCSC students, both undergrads and graduates students.
This is the best hole in the wall ever find! The food is amazing, their special drinks are the perfect touch of flavors. Our waitress was amazing, very attentive and friendly.
Okay, this place is pretty straight. I went to my Fedora and pea coat and felt 100% at home. Baked artichokes?! Yes, please! 1940 atmosphere? Yes, please! 2 floors with different types of masses? Yes, please! Cute bartenders offer noodles of great information with hardly any question? Maybe my new favorite bar. Be careful to close with cops. I mean CRAWLING.
This place was a pleasant surprise. Comfy Clinches, Fireplace, good selection and the music was at a good level where you can keep conversations. Something about the red lights makes you want
The red upstairs is my favorite bar scene in SC. Feels like a vampire den in the best way
