Walnut Avenue Cafe - Santa Cruz

We had to wait a long time to be seated, but it was New Year's Day. The food was delicious and tasty. I wish they had more combo options, but overall it was a really good breakfast.

Pretty good food, very diner/pub type of meals. It definitely was a bit of a wait, it gets really busy. The service was good but a little slow (it was crowded and they were probably short staffed). And the inside was quite packed and loud. Overall it was pretty good though.

The food is decent. The English muffin on the Eggs Benedict was not toasted and very chewy. The burger ordered medium rare came out medium well. The coffee is not much better than what you would find at a 7/11.

This is an incredible place to enjoy some delicious breakfast food. Everything on the menu was fantastic and full of flavor. The hollandaise sauce for the eggs benedict was incredibly creamy and tasted amazing. I will definitely be returning. It's the perfect place to grab a bite to eat before heading out to walk around the shops.

Consistently great food over the years. Breakfast entrées can't be beat. We had hamburgers, which tasted fresh, not frozen, on a choice of buns. Excellent and prompt service.
