We were unpleasantly surprised at how mediocre the food was, considering how nice the service and atmosphere were. My husband was not happy with traditional eggs benedict. The hollandaise sauce was separating from the start. The croissant, certainly not traditional, was soggy. The plating was sloppy. My tofu scramble was okay. Once I added pico de gallo, it brightened up the flavor a bit. I was so happy to find bread from Companion Bakery, the best bakery in the county. The hash browns were the best I've ever had, but again, plated sloppily. May I recommend some type of garnish, such as, slice of orange and/or a sprig of parsley. The ****** mary was not the best I've had, but most I've ever paid. $1 more to make it spicier wasn't worth it. Bruno's in Scotts Valley and the Crepe Place have better ****** marys for less.
Update : it's been 4 years now? Cmon guys, you're the Harbor Café! No seafood omelette?!?! Better change the nameOkay food, great service and atmosphere. Dog friendly patio with plenty of seating, if you get there early enough. Expect a long wait after 10am. Get the seasonal fruit cup substitution. Worth it. Grab a cup of joe and a Good Times while you wait. And don't forget to ask before you pet someone else's dog.
Fish tacos are absolutely delicious! Also love love the fries. Would recommend it! The salmon benedict has very few salmon (also in chopped pieces) and too cooked. Not the best. But I revisited with friends
Very bad spot to eat the food sucks it will give you diarrhea too much meat, which is uncooked don’t go there. Save your money. Go somewhere else absolutely horrible.
