Rifugio Troier

We stopped here on our way down a run. We just chose it. You can sit in or out. Table service only. Good food, good service, clean washrooms and uses fresh ingredients. It was very good and we just continued on skiing after a spaghetti lunch. My spaghetti was good. The goulash was warm and filling. The owner came out and asked how things were. They understood English.

The piste maps for the area are infuriating. This hut is on blue piste 10. The piste does not appear in an identifiable fashion on the maps. Reaching it requires some use of the poles unless you;ve egged it. Cosy wooden hut with good range of hearty fare. The view is outstanding. A deservedly popular beer stop

Clean bathrooms, great food, good views, friendly staff. No English. I thought I was ordering sausage and potatoes but ended up with hotdogs. I just don’t know German!

Been there for lunch after a long trip. The food is original and most of the ingredients are coming from their farm. Butter and cheese are incredible. The tiramisù was one of the best I have ever tried

We were able to take refuge in this hut during a passing hail storm. A good selection of hot lunch items, soups being the choice to warm up after the rain. Friendly service and an outstanding view when the clouds lifted.
