However, the pricing on the menu is quite odd. For instance, a two-item combo with rice and beans costs nearly $20, while a three-taco combo with the same sides is only $14.50, and a taco a la carte is priced at $4.75. On the other hand, three sopes for $14.50 seems like a good deal. The lack of consistency in the pricing is a bit puzzling. We may consider returning, but we'll be more mindful of our choices next time. The daily specials also appear to be quite reasonably priced!
The Mexican food here is truly authentic and excellent. I highly recommend it and will definitely return when I'm in the area.
I would strongly advise against ordering food from this restaurant. They do not take responsibility for any mistakes. I placed an order through the Villa Rosa Inn hotel, and not only was my order late, but there was also a hair on my girlfriend's plate. She had ordered egg whites but received scrambled eggs instead. To make matters worse, the food was cold. When I called the restaurant, the woman who answered was quite unhelpful and offered no apologies for the mix-up or the hair in the food. I was very disappointed by the lack of professionalism; she even suggested that I contact the hotel instead, without at least apologizing on behalf of their kitchen. This experience deserves a one-star rating.
Stopped in for lunch and had the chile rellenos. It was very great. Believe it or not, I really liked the rice. It was light and fluffy, not too many spices. The service was good too.
I ordered the ceviche and I was so disappointed it had to flavor at all and they gave me a salad with the ceviche and no dressing no nada, dry yet the mojito was really good
