Arable - Santa Ana

This restaurant is delicious. The decor is simple, but customers come for the food experience. It seems that the owners are French and there are some French guests, creating a French atmosphere. We ordered a steak and a burger for dinner, both of which were delicious. They did not have any dessert or coffee, but it was still a pleasant visit.

We dined al fresco and tried the Bison Poutine with Beehive Hatch Cheese. It was tasty and the portion was very generous. I also ordered a side of beets with Pepito, while my companions opted for the herbal mushrooms and a salad. To start, we enjoyed the Jalapeno Cornbread with Cayenne butter. The service was top-notch, with the new owner coming by to make sure we were enjoying our meal.

This farm to table restaurant is excellent, using locally sourced ingredients. The friendly and professional staff enhance the culinary experience. I highly recommend trying their new dessert, the Key Lime Pound Cake, which was delicious with a natural taste that wasn't too sweet. I will definitely be ordering it again.

The staff was super friendly and attentive. The menu was limited, but highly curated with local ingredients and very tasteful. The only disadvantage is limited interior seats, but they have a wonderful outdoor area for warm weather.

Great little spot out in El Dorado. The food was incredible, although dishes are on the smaller side. We started out with the Green Chile Cheese Tots (6 tots in total), then had the Apple Blue Cheese Bacon Salad plus Short Rib Nachos for the main, finished up with Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. The sauce on the green chile cheese tots was incredible. It was definitely freshly roasted green chile, not canned stuff. The nachos tasted great, although there were only about 10 chips (don't expect the heaping pile of nachos you're used to getting elsewhere for a similar price). The sticky toffee pudding was a great way to round out the meal. While the price would keep me from coming back with any regular frequency, it's great for a date night or special occasion.
