Hugger Mugger Brewing Company - Sanford

This was our first time dining here, based on a recommendation. We decided to try the taco and beer pairing event, in collaboration with a local Mexican restaurant, Tacos El Primo. The food was fantastic. The event was led by Tim, one of the owners, who was friendly and well-informed. The pairings were perfect. We plan on coming back regularly. The beers were exceptional. We appreciated the thought and care that went into crafting these delicate and delicious brews. Overall, it was an awesome experience.

The restaurant hosts various events like beer yoga, Latin night, line dancing, paint and sips, and trivia. Check their social media for updates on food trucks, beer, and events. They fill growlers with pretty much any beer, except for ones that don't keep well like nitro brews. They won't compromise on quality. As someone with German roots, it's important for me to find a place with good food and beer that's chill and respectful. This place definitely hits the mark and even has the German mom stamp of approval.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I absolutely loved it! The beer was amazing, the bartender was fantastic, and there were activities for the kids to enjoy. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Great brewery with a wide variety of beers that are all great. Food trucks almost every night. Great outdoor space in the back. Plenty of seating all around.

I write this as I sit at another brewery in Florida. Hugger Mugger has ruined me in the best possible way. My husband used to bartend here when we lived in Sanford, and no other brewery I’ve been to can compare to this one. Hands down the best beer I’ve ever had. I miss it terribly. Sometimes I think about coming back to town just for some Hastur. Unfortunately, I am not joking.
