Cafe Vesuvio Italian Pizzeria - Sanford

I had spaghetti and meatballs here and it wasn't pretty bland to be honest there was no seasoning whatsoever I thought this was an Italian restaurant. I liked the waiters.

In a party of 18 from a funeral. We were treated with utmost respect and kindness by all employees. Talked with owner and she said they all have been trained to treat people like people! If you want the try southern treatment with great Italian cuisine, you have to give them a try! I started with a rotisserie chicken salad and finished with a Pepperoni mushroom Stromboli, mouth watering. ?

We absolutely enjoyed our first time here! The food was delicious, from the appetizer, pizza, and pasta! Amber did great too! We will definitely come back!

We had delivery so cannot review service or atmosphere. However this was the worst lasagna I have ever had. And that takes a lot for me to say. Perhaps it's good for this area? The spaghetti with meatball (1 meatball) was mediocre at best. The bread either had bell peppers in it, or sat in the same bowl which was shocking when expecting normal garlic bread. Portion sizes were large, which I guess is good.... if you actually eat the food.

One of our favorite little spots for Italian food in Sanford. They did change up the menu a bit but I was still able to build my pasta the way I liked it, it was a little more expensive this way but prices are up everywhere so it’s to be expected. The garlic knots are delicious and a must have! Friendly staff and good service, two pretty important factors in picking a place to dine out these days!
