Davison's Steaks - Sanford

Davison's is very good, good service, no fussy deconstructed nonsense food. Steak portions to your liking. Give them a shot. The seared ahi tuna is excellent!

Good steakhouse. Great atmosphere and the smell of grilling is in the air. The meat is an absolute classic and very, very tasty. You can taste the quality. Salad bar has enough something for everyone. The focus is on the meat. Staff super friendly .... wasn't my last visit

Sanford is the home of this wonderful steakhouse. The salad bar has plenty of fresh ingredients. A unique option with the meal is a serving of steamed vidalia onions. Chose from delicious steaks (8 oz , chicken, pork chops, salmon, tuna, good choice of vegetables and appetizers. We also enjoy a glass of wine with our meal. The burgers are outstanding as well. The ambiance is warm and relaxing. The servers/staff are attentive and welcoming. This is our favorite steakhouse. We drive from Cary (35 mins to eat at Davison's for special occasions or just because. The drive is a straight shot down Hwy #1.

Wanted a good steak for lunch, and I thought I would try somewhere new. The place was very nice on the inside. The service was good, and the salad bar was great. Ordered a 12oz medium ribeye steak, and it came back well done, no pink at all, and did not have much flavor at all. Was definitely disappointed, especially since the meal cost almost $50.
