I am from croatia and I love the balkan kitchen, zorbas has excellent services and eating is simply phenomenal. it reminds me of home. but not only that, the simple look of the place, without unnecessary belling and whistle. the environment is very cozy and feels like balkan. beautiful Greek music plays in the background. the personal is very helpful for choosing food and they always make sure they are well supplied. eating was phenomenal. I think the pictures speak for themselves, rich taste, and I can probably tell them the best baked kartoffel I tasted on Norwegian. I would give this place 10 stars. but 5 stars is the limit. I recommend it every day.
Visit them on a weekday. the owner didn't cost much attention while the waiter was much more friendly. the court not quite what I expected. a cozy little place, but it had more potential than the end result.
I have been a fan of Greek food for many years and when I saw this restaurant by chance, I had to try. Overall I was very happy with my visit to zorba. eating was of great quality and very tasteful. almost like a visit in a Greek tavern. However, eating was quite expencive compared to the size of the part. the salate, which was served most meals, was delicious, but too small. I am also not a fan of big buttons red cone in salat. positiw: eating was served quite quickly the meat was perfectly cooked and juicy authentic Greek mood music cons: some appetizers were not available to order small portions (and thus a bit pricy) small selection of beer and wine. I will come back later, and until then I hope that management has adapted the size of the portions and has added more authentic Greek desserts like blindkoumades or melopita.
I have the lame with Greek kartoffels. I was disappointed by the sweet and brown sauce (I would have personally wanted a little more Greek tasting), but the lamb itself was very good! I will order again, but please ask tzatiki instead of what they usually use.
We looked forward to have a good greek meal here, however there is nothing resembling greek quality food here! Partly cold moussaka, prawn salad ???? .. Norwegian lamb leg meat with scattered vegetables and salad.. Please bring greek love into your food to get better reviews!
