We had recently arrived in Sanremo where we were going to stay for one night so we saw this place from the car park and booked. Welcoming service from the staff, perhaps a little attention is lacking in table service. But everything was repaid by the pizza! VERY GOOD. Of excellent quality and made in a special way. It's true, the service is long, the pizzas took a while to wait but the courtesy of offering us a snack while we waited was appreciated! My partner and I stayed in Sanremo for a month. Almost all the food was delicious but mamma Maty stood out. Sit outside for a beautiful view. They give you some really good pizza bread before the meal. They have a really great drink selection. I got a negroni and it was huge! For food, the pizza was fine, but everything else stood out and was absolutely amazing. The seafood pasta was delicious and full of seafood. Make sure to order something off the “ethnic” menu. The goulash was out of this world delicious and a nice little break from all of the Italian food in the area. When we come back to Sanremo, we’ll undoubtedly return to mama maty!!!
