Texas Bean Brew House - San Marcos

I have been coming to Bean Brew for years now and have always loved the food and the customer service has always been excellent. Today though was absolutely horrible, I came in and got what I normally get a creamy caramel and a waffle, super basic and super easy to make. I had waited 28 minutes for my waffle before I decided that it was time to ask. Whenever I went up to the counter I got popped off to by a waitress. She said that they were super behind, at this point the restaurant was half empty, and I said ok thank you. I waited another 10 minutes before I got my food. Once again I always love coming here for a delicious breakfast but today was completely unexceptional.

Went to eat breakfast with some family members. The food was delicious. Had the chicken fried steak with over easy eggs, potato hash, toast, and for the drink Mocha frappe which was so good!!! Definitely going back! The eggs were cooked perfectly which is rare! Great job guys! ?

The reviews looked great for this place, so we decided to try before heading back home. First thing when you walk in you will order. There were plenty of seating options inside and outside. The food and coffee were excellent, portions were big, and we will definitely visit again if ever in town.

The fish tacos are not good. The fish tastes like a frozen fish filet that is really fishy. The chips are bland and boring. The salsa is fair. The eggs Benedict was the only thing the Sweet potato hash was good but not hot or crisp. The people behind the counter give off a weird vibe. The food was not good enough to get me to return, especially with the high prices for what you get.

Never disappoints. Great food and great service Just try to beat the crowd.
