Mcdonald's - San Marcos

The food here is always good and the service is fine, but you need to be prepared to WAIT when you stop in here. Stopped here more than ten times and this is easily the slowest moving Drive thru line at a Mcdonalds I have ever seen. Especially after 5pm- mornings are fine. Expect to wait 30 minutes or longer after 5pm. Working fast food is challenging in this town, for sure, but sheesh.

When to pick up my order because I ordered off the app. I got there and the lady said the only thing you will be getting is the BBQ sauce. I asked her why. She said we are not serving lunch right now. I'm like then why does it show in the app y'all are? That make no sense to me. Made me come back later to get my food ridiculous in my opinion. When the app and the hours say lunch is served at 10:30

I have been here multiple times and the last two times were horrible first time there was an an employee who gave us our food and made racist comments and was forcing his religion on me and my boyfriend which I didn't like at all it was very unprofessional and sad. The second time which is today i didn't get one of the menu items I ordered and ended up waiting 15 minutes but was still charged for it I'm very disappointed on how they handle things and treat the customers here I will not be going back id rather go to another one in another city or town than this one ever again

The worst McDonalds I’ve honestly been to. For whatever reason people are afraid to communicate and be professional. Myself and 5 other people ordered through the app and had the option to get our food indoors, but when we showed up, the doors were locked. I waited 20 minutes and nobody came to talk to us about what was going on. Some lady just swung her arms in a circle telling us to go through the drive through which we could have done if all the staff stopped pretending to ignore a group of customers who already paid for their food and just said “We’re sorry we can’t accommodate you and if you don’t mind please go to the drive through.” Something needs to change.

Last night I was missing some food from my bag. 3 hash browns to be exact. We came back again today to order more food and I told them about the missing food. The lady RUDLY shut the window and walked off. I sat there for a minute for her to come back and throw the bag of food to me with the 3 hash browns inside. Only plus side is that the hash browns are fresh.
