While it was a simple dish and a bit on the expensive side, it was surprisingly delicious and offered a refreshing change of flavors. I particularly enjoyed the olives, as it had been a while since I had them in Asia. My boyfriend ordered a pineapple shake made without milk, which was very tasty, and I had a wonderfully brewed coffee that I thoroughly enjoyed.
The restaurant offered a separate vegetarian menu with a few options. The falafel bowl was delicious but the portion size was not very large. The falafel wrap was tasty but on the smaller side. We also ordered the chopsuey, which had a good variety of vegetables. I would recommend coming for a snack rather than a full dinner. The prices were reasonable.
This restaurant offers a separate menu for vegans and vegetarians. The older man usually only gives out the Filipino menu, so be sure to ask for the vegetarian menu. They have options like falafel, hummus, and mixed vegetable dishes. Vegetarians should definitely try their pancakes for breakfast. I was very happy with my falafel bowl, as it can be challenging to find vegetarian/vegan options. The prices are affordable and the staff is friendly.
I took a look at the menu yesterday and there were no veggie options besides fries and spring rolls. I didn’t ask about a veggie menu so there is a possibility that one still exists but the main menu has nothing on it.
No more veggie schnitzel on the menu. Food was very average to below average (considering the price). Tiniest portion of hummus I have ever got. Falafel burger was average. Fries from the freezer. Stars for clean place and toilets.
