Habíamos leído que este lugar al sur del centro histórico de Puerto Rico era uno de los mejores en el que comer pescado fresco en la capital del país sin tener que dejar en él un ojo de la cara la primera noche que intentamos cenar en él estaba tan lleno y con tantas reservas que era imposible. Pero nosotros, comprometidos a probar su comida, regresamos al día siguiente y luego si teníamos una mesa el lugar parecía sencillo e informal, con grupos de amigos y familias. Habría esperado algo más encantador, pero lo que importaba era lo que vendría a la mesa que nos aconsejaron y tomamos arepas, empnadillas, calamares y camarones. todo bueno y jugoso, pero con un cocido con toques caribeños que pueden no ser del placer de todos. el precio, en medio de los restaurantes de la ciudad: cena para dos con cervezas, por unos 50 dólares.

We had read that this restaurant in the southern part of the historic district of Puerto Rico was one of the best places to eat fresh fish in the capital without breaking the bank. The first night we tried to have dinner there it was so full and fully booked that it was impossible. But determined to try their food, we went back the next day and finally got a table. The place seemed simple and casual, with groups of friends and families. I would have expected something more charming, but what mattered was what would come to the table. We let ourselves be advised and had arepas, empanadas, calamari and shrimp. Everything was good and juicy, but cooked with Caribbean touches that may not be to everyone's liking. The price, on par with other restaurants in the city: dinner for two with beers, for around 50 dollars.
They specialize in seafood with the island's traditional flavor.
