Eter Rooftop Lounge - San Juan

Great atmosphere and landscape, especially in the night. it is out of the door with a good amount of wind/wind, so I felt comfortable (in the light of COVID-19) near so many people. that was great. the service was great. the atmosphere is best. it felt so trendy and posh.

I enjoyed the food and the view but the service was very slow between time you order and when you get your plate. I feel like it was about an hour wait. Some of my table members had to send their food back because their hollandaise sauce was too salty. I ordered the short ribs and the red velvet waffles and it was delicious! I highly recommend you go and taste for yourself. Also of note is that during the day, it is very hot in the sun. They have umbrellas but you have to hold them in your hands which can be difficult while eating so make sure to put on your sunscreen ahead of time! Finally bring lots of patience!

We came here for brunch on our way to the airport. The front desk held our luggage for us even though we were not hotel guest. It was quiet out and service was quick. The view is absolutely beautiful and they have a shallow dipping bowl/jacuzzi. We enjoyed both enjoyed the food. Thankfully, there was some shaded spots we could move to to eat as the top deck is completely open and it got very hot!

So when we came in for our 10:30 pm reservation for my husbands birthday the host was nice, we originally reserved for outside for the view. When she told one of the servers with blond hair to take us she immediately told her no. Then there were three servers conjugating by the elevator for the next 15 minutes and staring at us and it wasn’t until we seen a server and asked her “are we’re going to be assigned a server” and she decided to take us. Mind you the entire time we weren’t offered a menu or to scan anything until the server asked us what to drink. Rushed us for the drinks. But her service was good so far. But she wasn’t attentive and left our empty cups on the table for the next 20 minutes; never offering another drink until I finally caught her to ask for water. I can understand if you had a long night at work but it’s so rude to be rude to guest. Once we finally got our food the manager decided to tap us and could see my husband was obviously annoyed. And said he was going to take the drinks off the bill which he never did. The food was good but the service overall was horrible. The bill came up to $94 for two drinks and two entrees And we came all the way from NY with a recommendation here. I highly do not recommend, especially a person of color; too many looks and stares for me and no attention for your table. This was supposed to be the highly of our trip for his birthday and it was ruined by their service.

While this place has great views, the service was poor. The lovely woman who greets you downstairs is probably the best thing about this place. The waiter was not friendly or helpful, I noticed that the staff favored locals than tourists. As beautiful and as accommodating as most businesses are on the lovely island of PR, this place was a major disappointment and not how I wanted to spend my last night there. The food was good although I waited 30 mins for a piece of cheese cake
