Le Boulanger - San Jose

I was really disappointed with my experience. The bread was dry, and the coffee was lackluster. The woman at the front was quite unfriendly and had a dirty shirt, which didn't help the situation. It almost spoiled my morning, but I refuse to let that happen. I won't be coming back. Food rating: 3/5.

Le Boulanger used to be my top choice for breakfast and lunch. The chain was sold some time ago, and shortly after that, they stopped making their breads and pastries in-house. Since then, several locations have closed down. The nearby location that’s still open does offer good food, but the very limited staff seems almost unfriendly. Food: 5/5.

This used to be a great spot for lunch, but the quality of the food has declined every year. The service is virtually nonexistent. We noticed they have outdoor tables, so we asked if they could notify us when our food was ready. The server replied no, stating we would need to come and check ourselves. The place was empty, and she then sat down and started texting on her phone. Food rating: 2/5.

Not fresh breads!I bought the bagels, Sunday morning, and you expect that they are fresh once you are buying it from bakery but they are not and probably made day/days before!Not recommended at all!Food: 1/5

Wow haven't been here for years. This place is in need of renovation just as health report states there's numerous repairs needed and a deep cleaning from cob webs water stains, missing paneling looks stale... The front entrance has no appeal empty displays. An inviting Spring entrance would be so welcoming: instrumental Music would help. I wouldn't be surprised if a new business takes over future and renovates this once clean business . Miss those corn muffins with melted butter dripping on all side with hot cup coffee.
