Gyros, Burgers More - San Jose

This cozy diner-style restaurant offers combo meals including gyros, burgers, chicken, fries, and a soda for $20 (19.76). The portions are generous - I couldn't finish all my gyro or fries, but my lunch companion was able to. I personally felt that the gyro meat could have been more flavorful, but I believe it's a matter of taste preference. The meat was slightly drier than the typical shawarma, possibly because we were the first customers of the day and the meat had just finished cooking. Despite this, all the sandwiches were fresh and crunchy. I would be willing to give them another try.

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant! The flavors are always delicious and the portion sizes are huge. We tried the gyro pita and chicken souvlaki pita and both were absolutely fantastic.

Was the food delicious? Was it worth $20? Unfortunately, no. While the abundance of meat was tasty, I was disappointed that the fries were the only side included with the gyro instead of something more traditional. In general, the meal was enjoyable, but due to the high price, I doubt I will return.

Ordered a Mediterranean dish with salad, hummus, falafel, Dolmas Pita bread and a beef cabob over bread. It was very fresh, tasty and savory. The service was welcoming and excellent.

I'll be straight, the prices on Google Maps are way off. Everything in the restaurant has yellow tape on top of the price. All the prices are 50% higher than the Google Map Menu. For 1 gyro, 1 cheeseburger and 1 Mediterranean plate it costs 60$ (with 15% tips). For this kind of food, this is outrageous. 18$ for a gyro, 13$ for a cheeseburger which has no side, no drink, no fries. Also, no water or table service. But there are about 12 security cams pointing at you when eating. We went at 5pm30 a Saturday and I saw 2 other orders, we were alone most of the time, I think it validates the price being too expensive. Staffs were nice, tables were clean, no wait time, lots of parkings. Won't come back.
