Really cute and quaint spot. Owner is a really nice guy. No frills. Brings me back to Portugal.

Love this small family owned neighborhood coffee shop. The espresso is fragrant and smooth. They make ham and cheese sandwiches with fresh baked Portuguese rolls and sao Jorge cheese from the Azores. This is a piece of the Azores in east side San Jose. The vibe brings you right to the island. Must get the ham and cheese sandwich and an espresso!!!

Great little Cafe! Service was quick,. Espresso was good. Grabbed a little custard pie. Delicious! Light and fluffy. The sandwich was simple and very tasty. My don loved the bread. I ended up splitting my round sandwich by 3. Definitely stopping by again during our stay here. Thank you!

My wife and I stopped there on our way to Avila Beach. This cafe is GOLD. So welcoming and comforting. Exceptionally friendly atmosphere, coffee and sandwiches are spectacular.

Great little spot filled with friendly chatter. A few SJFD walked in for their morning shift coffee and gave out stickers to the kids there. Food and coffee were delicious from great quality beans, São Jorge cheese, paposeco and everything in between. Definitely recommend and we will be back! Kid-friendliness: Along with our little one there was another little boy there and they both enjoyed themselves. There's kid-friendly food options, candy machine and Portuguese candy and desserts that all kids would love.
