Had a fantastic lunch at Armadillo Texas BBQ! The brisket was a highlight—tender and delicious. The mashed potatoes and peanut coleslaw were awesome, and the pork ribs were okay. The nice atmosphere and lots of seats added to the overall positive experience.

The food is excellent, and the service is good as well. However, I took away one star because of their unusual serving method. They ask every customer for their phone number and send a text when your order is ready for pickup. Given the high prices, I believe they should bring the meals to the table instead of asking for tips. Additionally, I feel uncomfortable sharing my phone number out loud in front of strangers—it's a rather strange practice. While you might be taken aback by the prices, the large portion sizes do provide some value for the higher-than-average cost. This makes me puzzled as to why they don’t offer table service.
