Canyons Steak House At Soboba

This was my first time at a steakhouse, and I have to say, it was fantastic! I've never had steak this delicious before. The quality of the food surpassed my expectations. Every dish and side was bursting with flavor, which really enhanced the overall experience. The service was excellent too. While it's not inexpensive, it's absolutely worth it—you deserve a meal like this!

I had three dining experiences at Great Oak at Pechanga. While the food is decent, the service was a real setback. We ultimately decided to stop going there and will drive further for a better experience. It’s not worth saving a 20-minute drive only to be left disappointed.

Dinner was great. Service was excellent. Just be warned. Every item is priced separately. But worth it at least once.

**Customer Service:** We were very pleased with the service. David, the manager, was incredibly attentive to all the customers. Our waiter, Alex, made sure that everything was to our liking. They checked in on us without being intrusive, which was perfect. We couldn't have asked for better service. **Food:** I ordered the lamb, and it was absolutely delicious. The other members of our party had the sea bass, salmon, and chicken, and there were no complaints from anyone. Everyone enjoyed their meals, though it seemed that everyone agreed the lamb was the standout dish. Hats off to the chef! The desserts (as shown in the photo) were also tasty. We tried the cheesecake, butter cake, monkey bread, carrot cake, and crème brûlée, and there were no bad choices among them. **Drinks:** A few of us ordered sweet cocktails. We found them a bit less sweet than we expected, but our waiter was able to adjust them to our preference. I suppose the drinks could use some improvement, as the bar appeared to be the restaurant’s weak point—but it wasn’t terrible. The **** Mary (pictured) was decent. **Ambiance:** For a fine dining restaurant, I anticipated a slightly more elegant dining area. It felt more like a 3 out of 5, especially given the price range. The restaurant’s atmosphere didn't quite match its pricing, but again, it wasn't terrible. Overall, we rate it a 5 out of 5 because the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

I was brought to canyons by a friend on Friday. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought I would bring my wife on Valentine?s Day so I made a reservation the next day. I got a call the following Sunday from a girl that explained to me that they had decidedto have a Valentine?s Day special. And that if I wanted to eat there on Valentines I had to go off of their Valentines menu. Isaid that?s not a problem what is on the menu. She explained to me the menu and then told me what the price was going to be.$225. I said does that come with any drinks she said no I said that sounds like you raise the price substantially from theregular menu she told me hold on and put me on hold. A man came on and said his name was David and asked what I needed. I said Iwas talking to a girl that was explaining the Valentine?s Day menu. I explained that I had made a reservation and there wasn?tany notice about any valentines menu and that the prices seem substantially higher for that day. I said it didn?t seem fair thatyou took my reservation and then after the fact tell me how much I have to spend. He said it was Valentines and everything costsmore and that if I didn?t like it he would have no problem at all filling every seat in the restaurant. He was very rude so Icanceled my reservation and will take my wife somewhere else for Valentines . As a business owner myself I have never made anegative review. I feel like the restaurant business is a very tough business and it?s hard to make people happy. But this hasnothing to do with food or service this has to do with poor management and a rude manager at that.
