Fresh Roast - San Gabriel

I stopped by this morning for a quick coffee and breakfast on the go. It was our first visit, and the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Our group enjoyed the pandan coffees, Hanoi egg coffee, bubble waffle, freshly baked croissant, and egg tarts. Everything was served quickly and was delicious. The menu features a great selection of hot and iced coffees, HK milk tea, bubble tea, Vietnamese coffee, cold drinks, and breakfast/lunch options. They also offer milk alternatives like almond and soy milk, as well as indoor seating.

The food and coffee here are excellent and offered at very reasonable prices. However, the 5-star rating truly reflects the owners and the inviting atmosphere. The decor has a unique and cozy feel, making it a great place to relax. The owners are incredibly friendly and enjoyable to chat with. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The place was cute and a little rustic looking. I got the pandan coffee and tbh it was not exactly what i expected! I think i would like the coffee more concentrated and the pandan to be less watery. Seems like a good place to do work though

What a great find. A gem in the haystack. A mom-pop coffee shop on the streets of San Gabriel Blvd. There's limited parking in the back. The owner is friendly and he took my order, told me it would be about a 10-15 min wait while they made my order, and rung me up. 1. Pandan Coffee (5/5)I love that they use quality coffee and that they do not add additional sugar. It's strong in coffee flavor, but the pandan juice and coconut milk added subtle sweetness and fragrant flavor. I'd drink this everyday if I could. 2. Hanoi Insanity Coffee (5/5)It's essentially egg cream foam on top of coffee, which sounds gross, but surprisingly very good. The egg foam has a bit of sweetness and savoriness to it that adds a nice creamy balance to the strong coffee. It's hard to describe, but I do recommend it. YOLO, so try something out of the world. 3. Pandan Egg Waffle (4-4.5/5)I personally liked the strong pandan flavor of the waffle. I did not give it a 5/5 because my mom said it's a bit bitter, which I did not detect. To me it's not too sweet and not too bland. The waffle itself was crispy. I would get this any day as a nice little snack.

What a wonderful spot right in the heart of the SGV.So homey inside, with contrast of busy San Gabriel boulevard outside. You feel comfy yet energized.
