Waterfront Grill - San Diego

What a fantastic find! This place has a wonderful neighborhood pub vibe and the staff are truly entertaining. The burgers were delicious, and we returned for breakfast the next morning, which was equally impressive. The staff play a significant role in making this place special, and it's one of the oldest pubs in town.

I absolutely adore this place! It’s truly a significant part of San Diego’s history. I’ll share some photos once I find where I put them.

My fish and chips were excellent. My waitress was incredibly courteous and professional; I just wish I could remember her name. She had long dark hair. I didn’t give the atmosphere five stars because I’m 67 and found it a bit noisy, but it wasn’t too overwhelming.

Best bar in Little Italy, possibly even all of California. The standout feature here is definitely the staff; they are incredibly friendly, and every bartender made an effort to introduce themselves and ask for patrons' names. The drink menu is typical for a dive bar, with beers, shots, and the occasional cocktail. I've been there 4 out of 5 times, and the food has been fantastic each time. I listed the price as $100+ because I usually spend about 4 hours there. Beers are around $4-5, and food ranges from $10-15. Anyone who gives less than 5 stars clearly doesn’t appreciate a great place!

Great little stop in bar! Bartenders are super friendly when you walk into the bar. Great happy hour specials and food.
