Villa Capri Carmel Valley - San Diego

I've been living in the area for 5 years and tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. The food was amazing. We really enjoyed having Brian as our server. Amazing food and amazing service! Our waiter was wonderful and obviously very passionate about his job. The food was delicious and left us wanting more even though it was extremely filling. The portion sizes are generous for the quality. The only negative thing I could say is the outdoor dining is very close to the parking lot (maybe a fence would help? , but the indoor seating is very pleasant. Definitely order the calamari for an appetizer, you will not be disappointed in the quality or the quantity! Can’t wait to eat here again!

My favorite menu item here is their arugula with burrata appetizer ... so delish!! The pasta and pizzas are great, too. The ambiance is alright (in a shopping center) but it is cozy inside. Prices are a bit high, but I guess bc it's Carmel Valley. Nonetheless, I go when I'm craving my favorite appetizer.
