The Lamplighter - San Diego

I've been coming to this place for years with my dad, who has been a regular his entire life, and I absolutely love it. The atmosphere is fantastic—it's a no-frills local bar, which I appreciate. Francis is wonderful; she always makes me feel at home and is an excellent bartender!

I visit the Lamplighter every other Sunday, and the familiar faces I encounter make this Cheers-style bar a warm and inviting place. Francis is an excellent bartender who always makes me feel at home.

One of the best bars in San Diego, and my favorite spot! The drinks are always excellent, and the vibe is incredible—it's always a fantastic time. There's so much to do, whether it's karaoke, playing pool, dancing, or just hanging out and making new friends (great places attract great people). I've met some of my closest friends there, including the best bartender I know, JJ! I never leave The Lamplighter without having a good time. I highly recommend checking it out when you're in San Diego—if you can keep up!

A really good place to have a good time with your friends. Everyone is so kind, and welcoming. I’m sometimes greeted by an individual named Taylor who is working at the door and she always makes me feel good before I come in and have a fun time! Overall, recommend this place, great music, good vibes!

This place is pretty crowded and its cash only which kinda sucks. The karaoke here is awesome though, they have a stage and lights and most of the time you have a crowd of people singing with you.
