What an awesome variety of pork and other delicious foods! The bacon chocolate bread pudding was great.

I had wings and beer for dinner, and although I wasn't in time for happy hour, I decided to go for it anyway. The wings were delicious, and I could have easily eaten another plate!

Awesome service, great atmosphere, great live music! Best experience in my 4 night stay in San Diego! I will be back no question. No comparison on genuine great service at affordable prices.

The Hopping Pig is a gastropub located in Gaslamp, known for its emphasis on small-batch craft beer. They offer 32 rotating taps, primarily featuring West Coast breweries, as well as selections from craft breweries worldwide. The venue is cozy with a friendly vibe, and it’s conveniently situated with screens that broadcast live sports.

What truly sets this place apart, aside from its interior design and lighting, is the extensive and impressive selection of craft beers. You definitely feel compelled to explore different options instead of sticking to the same one for the entire evening. During our visit, we tried several drinks, including some from Goose Island. For food, we shared a variety of small plates, but the garlic parmesan fries and the pulled pork tacos with pico de gallo were particularly noteworthy. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend checking out The Hopping Pig if you're in the area.
