Visited from the middle west. very friendly bar to hang out. beautiful locals. cool story. they go Sunday afternoon for the pitcher.

The perfect SD bar to hang out meet some new people and have some great conversations. Everyone here is amazingly friendly and fun. Top 5 bars easily!

I’ve been literally obsessed with this place for the longest time.

This was the first time I had been to The Hole in about 7 years. This was the place to go for years on Sunday afternoon where we saw our friends, made new friends, and consumed good stiff drinks. Well, I'm happy to say it hasn't changed one bit. The place was packed! The people changed over the years, but that's a good thing. I actually knew someone that was there. The legend of The Hole lives on!
