Tasty Noodle House - San Diego

I placed a to-go order for two items, but when I got home, I realized they had mixed one of the orders up. The dish with beef, green onions, and noodles was particularly disappointing. It tasted overly sweet and lacked any real flavor—it felt more like something you'd find at a buffet than a genuine restaurant meal. The noodles were also mushy and overcooked. Overall, I was quite disappointed and won’t be coming back. Plus, it was on the pricey side, and parking was a struggle.

Some dishes were enjoyable, while others were merely average. The restaurant is quite bustling. The bare walls contribute to the noise level, which can be quite high. The seating arrangements are cramped due to the crowd. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a quick meal. However, parking is very limited because of the numerous restaurants in the same plaza, forcing us to park a couple of blocks away. Food rating: 3/5.

Shanghai grilled pork buns and shrimp wonton soup are really good! They served the cold item and grilled pork buns almost instantly after you ordered. There was a long waiting list for a Sunday dinner but the wait time was not long as the queue moved fast.Food: 5/5
