Waitress was nice, Hosts weren’t that great. Not quite worth the wait here. One good thing is the price. Rolls range from $4.75-$7.00 a little more expensive if they’re baked.
I was tempted to rate this place four stars because I love sushi. But I think they could do better. They seemed like they were in a rush when they made my sushi. The flavors all blended together (in a mediocre way). The one good roll I had was the Mexican tuna roll? Or maybe it was called the Baja roll. The cilantro was a very nice touch.
The sushi would be great if it weren't for the fact their fish is not that fresh tasting. There are lots of great sushi places in the area, so there's no reason to bother eating here.
Not the best sushi in the world -their fish is even a little low quality, but they did invent one of the best rolls. Plus, it's all cheap. That fantastic roll is tempura sweet potato with cream cheese. What could be sweeter and better? The price. $3 for the best roll you'll have in your life. It totally makes up for the long wait and throngs of hipsters you have to deal with to eat here.
