Starbucks - San Diego

This Starbucks is a great spot if you're wandering around the area and in need of a coffee fix. My friends and I popped in while exploring, as they were feeling chilly and wanted something warm to drink. The location is small but offers outdoor seating for those who want to enjoy the fresh air. However, be aware that there are no heaters outside, so it can get uncomfortable if a cold breeze rolls through. My friends ordered hot black coffee, and since we were the only customers at the time, our drinks came out quickly. Overall, it was a pleasant stop!

I had the opportunity to help build this location about 7 or 8 years ago. I was responsible for all the woodwork, including the walls, cabinets, countertops, mural trim, and even the crown molding that's around 20 feet up. Interestingly, the headquarters used to be a jail, which is why you can see some old doors and jail doors high up. They were all salvaged and repurposed from the jail. I hope you enjoy it!

This bustling spot attracts many visitors from Seaport Village, the Headquarters, and nearby hotels looking for coffee or a quick snack. The indoor seating is limited, with just a few tables available, but there are some outdoor seats as well. The staff is friendly, and the baristas do a great job. It's a nice place to take a break and recharge. However, keep in mind that there are no restrooms on-site, so you'll need to use the facilities at Headquarters.

This Starbucks was good! But the only thing is that the hours listed are incorrect. They have temporary hours and they are currently closing at 4:30 PM
