Stopped by for the sandwiches again. $5.50 a sandwich. These sandwiches must be eaten when they are hot and ready, I ate one a few hours later and the bread was rock hard and tough to chew. It was still yummy, kick of spicy and flavorful! Same owners, same super nice lady at the counter. I love the fact that they take credit card now, they used to be cash only. Service is always great, I usually order my sandwiches, go into 99 ranch to buy my groceries and then pick up my sandwiches on the way out. This place has been here forever at least since I was little, and it's been the same lady, I love that! I highly recommend at least trying the place out especially if you were already planning to go to the store.
Love this little place inside the 99 Ranch building. I get the Papaya Salad just about every week here in my weekly grocery strips. It's so addicting with just right amount of heat from the red jalapeño! This week, I bought 2 (the pic shows some condensation since I refrigerated overnight. I also buy their Banh Bao (steamed pork bun definitely a meal in itself!
I don't know about the other menu items here but the avocado and Thai tea smoothie with boba is always on point. It's a nice way to end your shopping trip at 99 ranch and the avocado smoothie is especially refreshing in the summer--cold, sweet, and creamy deliciousness. The boba is soft and chewy too.
I always come here for their sugarcane drink (because it's close to work), but this time around it tasted like she mixed it with water. (I can't see behind the counter). She literally only used two small sugar cane sticks and ran it through the machine 4 times each to get as much juice as possible. Super greedy. I won't be supporting them anymore. Not worth the money. I would rather drive to Cococane instead in Westminster. That's where the real sugar cane is at.
