Mr. Ruriberto's Taco Shop - San Diego

On October 2, 2021, I ordered two carne asada mini tacos priced at $3 each. They were garnished with red onion, cilantro, and guacamole, and came with small cups of mild and hot sauces that seemed homemade. The tacos were delightfully greasy and incredibly tasty! The staff were friendly and accommodating. There was a slight wait since the restaurant was bustling with lunchtime crowds, but it was worth it.

You can never go wrong with tacos, and these were particularly delicious! The staff was friendly, and the food was incredibly fresh.

I stayed right around the corner from Ruribertos in Mission Beach, and it's a fantastic little spot. It's really a hole-in-the-wall type of place, but those often serve the best food. I highly recommend the San Diego breakfast burrito; I enjoyed one every morning I was in town, even waiting for them to open. The staff was friendly and polite, adding to the great experience.

Long time out of state visitor to Mission Beach (30+ years) and my first time visiting this restaurant. The gentleman who took my order was extremely nice and pleasant. Food was great and beans were fresh. No complaints, and I would definitely come back here again.

Had a mixed chicken/beef burrito and it was very good and almost enough for two people. I wish it was a bit spicier than we had it for, knowing that Mexican food should be spicy.
