I really liked the revamped space—it’s bright and features a simple, minimalist décor. The food was excellent, and we will definitely be returning for more. We particularly enjoyed the traditional cơm phần (family-style rice meal). We ordered the 2-3 person family meal for $55, which included sweet and sour tamarind soup, catfish clay pot, fried pork cutlets, and fried water spinach (rau muống). We also ordered a portion of salted fish chicken fried rice and a quarter pound of roasted duck. The soup was delightful, filled with ingredients like spongy elephant ear plant, okra, bean sprouts, pineapple, and plenty of catfish fillets. It had the perfect balance of sweet and sour from the tamarind. The catfish clay pot was packed with fish fillets as well, and we really enjoyed everything that came in the set. The only regret was not opting for the next set up, which included clams! The salted fish chicken fried rice was our least favorite dish, as it lacked the strong flavor and aroma of salted fish—it had more chicken than salted fish, which was a bit disappointing. One downside is the very small parking lot—there aren’t many spaces, and it’s a one-way in and out. However, it’s convenient that Paris Bakery closes early, freeing up spots for Maxim’s and Purple Mint. Just a heads up: the area can feel a bit sketchy if you have to park on the street.

Delicious food! I've sampled a variety of dishes from the menu and have never been disappointed. There are so many great options to choose from.

Come on man. I ordered seafood combinations with lo mein noodles . 2 pieces of shrimp, and barely any other meat with it mainly just noodles . This place isnt cheap either. Come on!!!!

I stopped by to support the new ownership but I was disappointed. I should have left when I saw a lot of flies in the restaurant. I ordered perking duck with egg noodle soup. The duck meat didn’t taste like fresh made. The broth wasn’t good. Unfortunately, i don’t think I will go back.
