Mandarin Wok - San Diego

This is truly the best Chinese food in all of San Diego! You definitely have to stop by for the most delicious dumplings as well! It's best to order takeout since they're being very cautious right now. And just like my friends do, make sure to thank your 'second mom' for preparing dinner for you!

The food is excellent at this charming family-run restaurant. They are more than happy to customize your order, and it’s one of the few places that offers classic egg rolls instead of spring rolls. Their Wor Wonton Soup is fantastic as well. Please note that they are currently only offering takeout.

Absolutely 10/10! This is the best Chinese food I've had in years! The quality is fantastic, and the flavors are incredible. I discovered this place during the pandemic when everything else was closed, and I've been coming back ever since.

SCRUMPTIOUS! I love Chinese food and this one takes the Fortune Cookie!(Cake) :D The customer service is beautiful as I learned how to count to 3 in Mandarin from the kind lady who took my order. Definitely going back. :d

The utensils were flimsy plastic forks and spoons made from paperboard. My hot tea was served in a paper cup, and it tasted like cardboard. The Buddha's surprise dish was quite good, but if you're a fan of raw vegetables soaked in water, you might enjoy it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
