Living Room Cafe - San Diego

What a delightful Friday afternoon treat! I absolutely loved the chicken apple pecan salad and oat milk latte. The salad was so fresh and delicious, with a fantastic dressing. I appreciated that the apple pieces were included in the salad. Thank you!

The hot drinks and desserts were delicious, and the ambiance of the restaurant is delightful.

I have been living in San Diego for 12 years and discovered the Living Room coffee shop about ten years ago. I immediately fell in love with the La Jolla location and have been a loyal customer ever since. Recently, the Living Room moved to a new spot in La Jolla, which I believe has only added to its natural charm. What sets this place apart for me is the friendly and kind staff, and the amazing food and drinks at reasonable prices. I also enjoy the live music events in the evening, which always draw a lively crowd. In my opinion, the Living Room is a perfect 10 and an essential part of San Diego's character. Charming cafe near the beach, excellent coffee, good food, great service! Beautiful atmosphere, feels very European. We enjoyed having breakfast on the patio.

EDIT: They moved. New spot is AMAZING!!! The fanciest, nicest cafe in La Jolla, and the best I've been to. Even more extravagant than a place like La Valencia, seriously. If you wanna get coffee in La Jolla, it's a Living Room angle, hands down. Only thing is the WiFi needs an uplift. Will give 5 stars once they fix it, I know they can! : Very good food and atmosphere. I love studying here, hanging out with friends, or grabbing some coffee to go. The location makes it perfect to stop by during a walk around downtown La Jolla or the cove. It's also one of the few places open during the later hours in La Jolla, and there is always something going on at night here. They started having live piano nights, and while they are few and far between, they ruin a potential study night, unless you are one to work with music at a moderate volume.
