La Mirage Cafe And Grill - San Diego

This place was my favorite spot downtown! The drink prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. We had an incredible bartender, and within just 30 minutes of opening for the night, they attracted a great crowd! I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in the city.

This is a review focused solely on the tacos. Stop what you're doing and go get these tacos right now. Still here? Alright, I know this place has an odd vibe and the decor leaves something to be desired. BUT THE TACOS. The tortillas are thicker than usual, which perfectly eliminates the need for double shelling. The tacos are generously filled, and even the more unconventional options (smoked salmon, anyone?) are surprisingly tasty. I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor, value, and service.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. I visited during the day and tried the chicken quesadilla and the corn tortilla shrimp taco. Both dishes were delicious!

Great live music and a DJ afterwards. Two areas to dance. Beers were expensive but, San Diego...

This place at one time, was the number one place to see live reggae music. At least 3 nights a week u could see/hear some of the top shelf reggae bands out of S.D. and downstairs, you could get ur freak on while the DJ spent some of ur favorite tunes.
